Such a great find!

I can not thank you enough for this pack! It has been such an amazing resource and something that my students have loved. The variety of pictures and the differentiation means there is something for all students. I work with EAL students and they have loved having the image to support their learning and also as a talking point to focus on their oral language skills.

Useful Starter

Useful to get children thinking about figurative language and inference skills as well as looking at the difference between those and literal responses.

Good activity filler

These are useful for short activities.
Have used as an independent task as part of a guided reading session - talk partners/paired read.

Fantastic 'Detective' Work

This back is superb pack. My pupils find it hard to develop their inference skills, so I have made them detectives and they are working through these resources. I especially like the way there isn't a lot of text but there is enough text and the terrific photos to help pupils work out what is happening. This is very helpful for younger or less able children. Thanks very much. So glad I joined Teaching Packs many years ago.
