Easter Topic Guide

Easter is the most important Christian festival of the year. Every spring, it celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, three days after his crucifixion.

Easter weekend begins with Good Friday, marking the day on which Jesus was crucified. According to the Bible, he rose from the dead on Easter Sunday, which is celebrated with church services. At Easter, many people also eat chocolate eggs, to represent new life.
