Diwali Topic Guide
Diwali is a festival of light that is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains. The festival lasts for five days. Each day has different traditions and stories associated with it. Probably the best-known Diwali story is about Rama and Sita.

The Hindu goddess Lakshmi, goddess of wealth, is worshipped during Diwal. Lamps are lit to encourage her to visit homes.
